In 1991, founder Wayne Adams drew from over a decade of homebuilding experience to begin serving homebuyers in Pensacola, Florida. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, the company grew into markets throughout Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. Since 2005, Adams Homes has expanded into markets in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and most recently, our Lonestar Region in Texas. Beyond simply building houses, we like to create win-win situations for our team members, craftsmen, and our clients. Our Core Principals rest upon the foundation set by Wayne Adams and are the pillars of our growth and continued success:
- You’re only as good as the people with whom you surround yourself
- Keep it simple
- Treat people as you would want to be treated
Why Choose Adams Homes
Our Mission is to deliver value to our customers through a straightforward approach to building quality new homes. This approach has positioned Adams Homes as a distinguished leading new home builder throughout the Southeastern United States. In the last three decades of business, our team has built and sold over 50,000 homes across 28 individual divisions - all with the shared goal - ”Value, Simplified.”
We believe that a home builder should offer customers a straightforward purchase process that is easy to understand and a home that fits their needs from the beginning. Based on these beliefs, Adams Homes has formulated a home buying process that removes some confusion from the experience. While some home builders reduce the features included in their homes to sell the customer high-priced upgrades, Adams Homes believes that value and satisfaction are delivered to the home buyer by offering a home that includes the features that most home buyers want. In the words of Wayne Adams, “Regardless of price, size, or location, all buyers want their builder to deliver value.”
Adams Homes has a unique outlook towards home building. While many companies have endless manuals and standard procedures by which to operate, Adams Homes attempts to limit “red tape” and allow our managers and Team Members to serve the home buyers' needs at a local level. Although all companies need some level of structure and procedure, we believe that every situation is not the same and that we have surrounded ourselves with great people who will treat the customer as we would expect to be treated.
